Shimmy is a premium liqueur for connoisseurs and everyone who loves elegance and exuberance. The composition is a lively interplay of lovely and floral flavors. In addition to a hint of papaya and sweet oranges, the bouquet is particularly impressive with a saffron nuance that is flattering and playful without being intrusive. Shimmy Champagne

For our Shimmy Champagne only the best handpicked grapes are used, placed in baskets not bigger that 5 kg to ensure that the best grapes are transported to the press undamaged and ready to be pressed. For our Champagne we only use the free run juice, after the fermentation proses the temperature-controlled Champagne is placed into oak barrels.

In order to get the perfect taste out of our champagne that makes Shimmy Champagne so unique and special we use 100% Pinot Meunier.

The Cuvee is stored for 24 months in bottles to enhance the fine earthy fruitiness and ensure that Shimmy Champagne has the classical biscuit tone.

About the Company

Shimmy AG is a traditional Liechtenstein beverage producer. The cultivation and processing of the raw materials is of the highest quality and is our most important asset. Shimmy AG is particularly known for its exclusive saffron creations and the high level of expertise in gourmet applications with saffron. The historical legacy of the recipes can be found in every single product and cocktail.

Our story began with hospitality, trips to distant countries and direct contact with the saffron Sargol. What was once only known from fairy tales and children's songs became a passion and after discovering the numerous possible uses, the secrets surrounding saffron had to be shared with the world.

This is how Shimmy AG was born, a business with a passion for enjoyment. With a focus on quality and innovation.

About Shimmy

Shimmy is a ballroom dance that emerged from the Foxtrot, which was created around 1918 in the USA and came to Europe in 1920.

With the spread of jazz, this dance style also developed as Shimmy-sha-wabble or Hootchy-Kootchy (from "to cooch" = shake your ass), shaking all the limbs of your body.

When dance arrived in Europe around 1920, French dance teachers gave it more modest dance figures. Here the shimmy then replaced the fashion dance jazz which had been popular until then.

Shimmy is the refined aperitif for connoisseurs and all those who love elegance and exuberance. And who has discovered Shimmy once for themselves, lives their life a little more fabulous!
